Poppy Walks for Wildlife!

Please sponsor our little Springer Spaniel called Poppy as she walks 7 miles in order to raise much needed funds for The Barn Owl Trust.

The Barn Owl Trust is a small registered charity working very hard to conserve one of the most beautiful birds on earth. Sadly, the causes of their decline are all man-made. The Trust was founded in 1984 by a small group of volunteers who believed not only that they could reverse the decline in Barn Owls through practical conservation work, but also that they could use people's interest in the Barn Owl to increase environmental awareness. They aim to promote biodiversity by creating and enhancing habitat for the Barn Owl and associated wildlife. They collect local data, publish research, and engage in practical conservation work, education and professional training. The Trust also takes in casualty owls and runs an owl sanctuary, a place of peaceful retreat that's not open to the public. An amazing charity that does so much with the limited funds it has!

Jas and I will be accompanying Poppy on her walk which will take place on one day between 2nd and 9th June 2012. We would be so grateful if you would like to help us raise money!
