Mhairi Macaulay is raising money for West Wight Sports & Community Centre
My story
At the very beginning of 2017 I thought what could I do this year that's a bit different?
Swim the Solent of course!
My partner Doug has completed the swim twice in past years in aid of West Wight Sports & Community Centre and has encouraged me to have a go with him this time.
By sponsoring me to complete this 1.2 Mile swim you will be raising money to keep an invaluable community hub and local leisure centre alive and thriving in a rural area where it is needed most!
I am not fastest swimmer out there but I'll jump into the sea any chance I can get including an icy dip on boxing day so I'm very excited about swimming the Solent.
