In memory of Nick Kennington

On the morning of the 2nd December 2017 my life changed forever, I received a phone call to tell me my beloved older brother had died unexpectedly. Nick was fit and healthy and there were no warning signs, the post mortem revealed that he died of a catastrophic heart event - he was 50 years old. For anyone who has the pleasure of an older sibling you'll understand what it means - there has never been a day in my life when Nick wasn't in it and although I fully admit to being his annoying younger sister it was a relationship I cherished.
I know that nothing will bring him back but I wanted to raise some money for a very worthwhile charity - Cariad, a charity that may help save the life of someone in a similar situation in the future. For those of you that know me well I'm always doing some event or the other but the event that is most special to me is IronMan Wales - so this year on the 9th September I'll do it in honour of my brother and hopefully raise some money along the way.
