Filomena Leone is raising money for Sight Concern Worcestershire
My story
'Fear is not your enemy.
It is a compass pointing to the areas where you need to grow.'
So here we go...
I'm taking part in Sight Concern Worcestershire's Halloween Firewalk, raising money for our county charity supporting blind and partially sighted people lead independent and fulfilling lives.
I'll be facing the fear of walking on fire and 'hot foot it' across 20 feet of embers at 1000°F. (eek!!)
The money raised will help blind and partially sighted people face the fear of losing their sight and learning how to cope.
Please sponsor my feet!!
And if you are free on the 29th October, feel free to come along and give us all some encouragement :)
The event will take place at The Bank House Hotel, Bransford, Worcester at 8pm and there will be face painting, a best pumpkin
competition and more...
