Event dates: 11th October 2017 – 20th February 2018
Every year over 7000 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer yet the symptoms are relatively unknown; in 2016 one of my closest friends received this diagnosis, she underwent emergency surgery and is now in remission and I am so proud of her. I thought what better way to show her how proud I am and to raise awareness and money for such an amazing cause than to throw myself out of a plane tens of thousands of feet in the air?
Research is key as in many cases it would be easier to treat had the signs been recognised earlier and this is why this fundraising is so important. Below is just a few ideas of what your donations can do:
-£50 allows 200 people to learn of the symptoms of ovarian cancer and it's symptoms to help earlier diagnosis
-£100 would enable 200 GPs to fully update their knowledge of ovarian cancer.
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto UK Skydiving Adventures to process and send to your chosen charity.
