Thames Challenge 25km

On 8 September, Deborah and Lawrence Cohen are joining the Thames Bridges Trek, walking 25km across 16 Bridges spanning the River Thames. We are raising money for All People All Places (APAP). APAP works all year round with homeless people, some of whom are destitute. Each winter from December to March APAP offers overnight shelter in local churches and one synagogue - Muswell Hill. This year Muswell Hill Synagogue will again be hosting 12 guests for one night a week over 8 weeks offering an evening meal, bed and breakfast. Each guest is also offered professional support to break the cycle of homelessness and achieve a sustainable tenancy. Last year, APAP helped 50 clients. This year, they want to help 70. The money we raise will help fund the overnight shelters, casework and transport costs, all of which are vital to the success of this charity. Please give generously, we are grateful for your support.
