About my fundraising

Gypsy came to us when her owner could no longer give her the care that she required. She had several lumps on her body and some were so large that she struggled to move around it was so heartbreaking for us to see her suffering like that we just had to help her.

She was immediately seen by our vet who diagnosed that he believed that they were lipomas (fatty tissue lumps) he advised that he could operate to remove them.

Her first op has been carried out and has cost the home approx £180.  It does look like she will have to have further surgery though in the near future.  The first op was to remove the two largest lipomas and she will now need extensive after care, cleaning of the fluid drains (because the lumps were so large) coupled with antibiotics and pain relief.  She is back at the home and recovering well. She is a very sweet, very brave girl who deserves all the love and care she is now receiving.
