About my fundraising

One of our parish churches, St. Stephen's in Olivers Battery Road North, Winchester is planning a programme of worship and community events to celebrate its 50th anniversary this May. As part of this programme, on 1st May our parish priest Fr. Mark Hogan and a group of fellow cycling parishioners (including me) are making a sponsored bike ride from Winchester to Salisbury and back.

Funds raised will be used to help a seminarian in our twin diocese of Bamenda in Cameroon complete his training despite the difficulties currently caused by civil unrest in the country. Your donations to support this initiative would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. When you make a donation, don't forget to check the Gift Aid box if you're a UK taxpayer as then your charity can claim an extra 25% from the government!
