Team GAR - 2013 Marathon des Vins de Blaye

As we stare out of our windows at the grey rainy skies and dream of the warmer months, our thoughts drift towards holidays and out door activities. Then we are reminded that in many so called idyllic locations, such a Greece, there is unprecedented animal neglect and abuse. The animals at the hands of the disgraceful humans, causing harm and breaking all animal rights laws have limited chances of survival and a better life. Greek Animal Rescue, is one such charity that strives to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome the unwanted, unprotected animals of Greece. Team GAR is a group of individuals who try to raise awareness and funds to facilitate the good work of the charity, by partaking in events for sponsorship. The latest event is the Marathon des Vins de Blaye on 11 May 2013.
