About my fundraising

On 23rd April 2017, I will be running 26.2 miles at the Virgin London Marathon. In May 2016 I was what you would call a couch potato!

I am running the Marathon for my oldest friend Tara Scougall who sadly lost her battle with bowel cancer on 23rd December 2015 aged 43yrs old. Tara showed such courage and determination to fight every step of her battle, she was amazingly brave.

I have been in training since June 2016 and couldn't run more than 200 metres let alone 26 miles. I'm getting stronger and fitter and my amazing trainer is convinced she will have me 'Marathon ready' in time.

It would be great if you could donate to this hugely worthwhile cause and help raise some funds to contribute to Tara's Lifeboat so she can go on to help save lives at sea.
