About my AFK

Action For Kids has been helping transform the lives of young people with physical and learning disabilities across the country, since 1991.

We believe every young person should have the opportunity to live the life they choose.

We help young disabled people to lead full and independent lives in any way we can including by:

- Funding specialist mobility equipment such as powered wheelchairs, trikes and walkers - Work Experience, training and job coaching opportunities - Bespoke accredited education and training programmes - Social and leisure activities - Healthy Living - Sport

- £35 could buy a tyre for a powered wheelchair - £50 could help carry out vital repairs on a wheelchair - £68.50 could part-fund work related learning sessions - £80 could pay for an annual service on a powered wheelchair - £100 could help enable a young person to sit upright in their wheelchair - £500 could pay for a social trip for young people with disabilities - £600 could buy a trike to give a child freedom whilst boosting motor skills and helping to strengthen muscles
