FriendsofRocktarts&Netty is raising money for JJ's Memorial Fund

My story

WE..The friends of ROCKTARTS & NETTY are attempting The Yorkshire Three Peaks Walk/Challenge. It is a very demanding but rewarding walk which takes in the summits of Pen-Y-Ghent(694metres_2,276 feet), Whernside(736metres_2,415feet) and Ingleborough(723metres_2,372feet) all in one circular route. The walk is 24.5miles(39.2km)long and takes in over 5,000feet(1,600metres)of climbing. The walking is over a variety of terrains, and certain sections can be boggy and energy sapping. By tradition the walk must be completed withing 12 hours for you to be able to join "The Three Peaks Of Yorkshire Club" This is not set in stone, if Participents climb one Peak it will be an effort in itself.THE ACTUAL TAKING PART IS WHAT MATTERS MOST.Any Donation no matter how small will make a Massive difference to a very worthwhile fund, Thankyou.

JJ's Memorial Fund Primarily raises money towards helping injured Paratroopers and supporting the families of Paratroopers killed in action.

Private Jeff 'JJ' Doherty or 'Doc' as he was known to his colleagues/brothers in 2nd Battalion,The Parachute Regiment was killed in an ambush in Afghanistan on 12th June 2008. It was 2 days after his 20th birthday.
