The Road to Santiago - Apr & Sept 2014 - 500 miles

An 800km Journey / Pilgrimage to raise awareness about and funds for SURVIVORS' NETWORK (Btn). And, especially, in recognition of the amazing journeys to recovery that female survivors of sexual abuse make.
This year, 2014, I have committed to walking The Camino for 2.5 weeks in April and 2.5 weeks in September, completing 500 miles (at least 14 miles per day). I am taking these steps to raise awareness about the above charity (for survivors of sexual abuse). In particular, I want to recognise the amazing journeys that women make to recovery - 'to get their lives back'. One in four females are affected and as it eventually becomes a little easier and more acceptable for women survivors to speak, our referrals increase. So, your help in sponsoring me, so more women can walk in a new direction would be very much appreciated.
