Summer & Jaimie's Charity Sky Dive

Event date: 27th May 2017

My story

Me (Jaimie Rhoades) and Summer Davidson are doing a charity skydive on the 27th May 2017. We have chosen Teenage Cancer Trust and Zoe's Place Baby Hospice as our chosen charities. Both charities are very close to our hearts and have had an impact on our friends and families life.
Summer's 3-year-old cousin Oliver was born with various complications including cerebral palsy. Zoe's Place have supported and cared for Oliver as much as they can afford to do, since he was born. Zoe's Place Baby Hospice provides FREE palliative and respite care to infants from birth to 5 years old. Most importantly, Zoe's Place provides a lifeline to families who, without this support, can fall apart under the pressure. Please help us to raise money so Zoe's Place can open their last two remaining cots and offer their support to even more families.
Last year, a very close friend of mine and Summer's was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 19 and the support she received from Teenage Cancer Trust is truly amazing. In the UK alone, 7 young people between the ages of 13-24 are diagnosed with cancer every day. With the Teenage Cancer Trust's help, they don't have to face cancer alone. They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear 'cancer'. Teenage cancer trust are the only charity dedicated to this age group and dedicated to making this happen.
A portion of the sponsorship raised may be used to pay for part of our jump cost.
