Sooz takes the plunge!

So as everyone who knows me is aware, I'm scared of heights... and water... and my own shadow!

But you know what, I'm braving something I'm scared of to raise money for a cause very close to my heart. Animal Connexions do amazing work and look after lots of dogs and cats who otherwise would have nothing and nowhere. I volunteer and help walk and play with the dogs, but the rescue is self-funded and relies on donations from the public to keep the animals safe and warm and loved. Attached is a picture of Barney, one of the many that Animal Connexions has helped to find his perfect place over the years. But there are many more like him, and sadly in Northern Ireland there are always more dogs than homes and that's why we need rescues and rescues need funds.

So please everyone dig deep, and if you come to cheer me on on the 22nd April then bring me a stiff drink for afterwards, and bring your outdoor voices so I can hear you! I promise you'll get a good laugh at my expense if nothing else!
