About my fundraising
The boys are at it again - having rowed round the Isle of Wight and broken a world record they're now setting themselves a challenge to Row to the Bestival whilst raising money for West Wight Sports Centre. West Wight Sports Centre is a charity owned community centre providing sports, fitness, healthy lifestyle choices. Located in the rurally deprived western part of the Isle of Wight it is the only facility accessible to the majority of the population and amongst many other things provides swimming lessons to more than 250 children every week. They are dependent on fund raising and grants to be able to continue to provide their services. Each year they organise the biggest Cross Solent Swim as well as the West Wight Triathlon, Needles XC Half Marathon and many more fitness related fund raising events.
