Ridgeway Walk in Aid of Phoenix Domestic Abuse Services

Lyn Smith (63) and Mick Bishop (68), both of Victoria, Ebbw Vale are walking along the historic Ridgeway over six days commencing Monday 17th September. The route begins in Avebury, Wiltshire and ends at Invinghoe Beacon in Buckinghamshire, some 87 miles distance. The walk is split into two sections to allow for a rest day which will be used for a ramble to Wallingford. The overall distance is just shy of 100 miles.

Lyn and Mick are both regular walkers, grandfathers, and members of Abertillery Orpheus Male Choir. They will be joined, for all, or part of the journey by family and friends.
