We are running our first ever half marathon, aiming to raise money for the charity ?Help for Addicts? part of The Romani Foundation (charity no. 1181483).
?Help for Addicts? is a charity aiming to raise awareness about the issues involved with addiction and to provide help, guidance and advice on dealing with addiction to drugs or alcohol and life issues which accompany such addictions, their aim is to raise awareness at an early age in schools and colleges, so they can begin to prevent a problem rather than trying to cure it. Educating not only young people but also their families and friends to enable them to spot the danger signs and know how to find help or how to deal with the situation. Aiming to stop young people ever feeling the need to start down the road of addiction by guiding them to other choices and supporting them in those choices.
We are running in memory of Jordan Romani, the son of a close friend.
