Midcounties Co-op National Three Peaks Challenge

A team from the Midcounties Co-op Specialist Service Group are aiming to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge - to climb the highest mountain in England (Scafell Pike 3209ft), Scotland (Ben Nevis 4409ft) and Wales (Snowdon 3560ft) within 24 hours.

This challenge won't just test the team physically with an estimated 26 miles climbing with a total ascent of 9800ft but also mentally as time for sleep and driving between the Mountains counts against the 24 hours.

The team are raising money for our Regional Community Partner Warwickshire Young Carers' Project (Carers Support Service) who help improve the lives of Young Carers across Warwickshire by offering free and confidential support. Our support will help the Project to provide specialist support for children caring for a family member with an illness or
disability, offering one-to-one guidance and a range of activities the Young Carers may have missed out on.
