Stacey Malcolm is raising money for Dementia Forward
My story
My name is Lucy and I am 9 years old. On Sunday 13th August I have organised (with a little help from my family) to do a 3 mile run around Studley in Ripon to raise money for Dementia Forward.
I was very sad when my Grandad got diagnosed with Alzheimer's as I love him very much. Recently he has started to go on weekly trips out to lots of different places with Dementia Forward. This helps my Grandad meet other people and it also gives my Grandma some well needed time to herself. My Grandma does so well looking after Grandad and I am very proud of her.
I would like to raise as much money as I can to help Dementia Forward so they are able to continue to provide such an important service and opportunities to people with dementia and their families.
I love my Grandma and Grandad with all my heart.
