Winter Footwear Appeal

It is that time of year where once again we make an appeal for winter footwear, the target group for this is the young people from Jacodu Children's Project, Each year we measure the feet of all of the children and teenagers and provide each one of them with their own individual pair of boots. This allows them to step out of their community, to attend school, attend our programs at our center. When we first launched Jacodu Children's Project the children lived a feral life, no schooling, no basic rights such as footwear and they lived a hopeless existence. Every child deserves the right to warm decent footwear and a donation of £16 to support this initiative will provide one pair of winter boots for one individual. This appeal is important in bringing hope to the young people we support, knowing that they are believed in shows them they are important and helps them to believe in themselves. Please help us to reach our target so the boots can be purchased for the distribution to take place on the 30th of October.
