Lou's Solent Swim

louiseharding is raising money for West Wight Sports & Community Centre
My story
On the 27th July 2019 I am taking part in a Solent swim, swimming from Hurst Castle to Colwell Bay on the Isle of Wight. The swim is organised by West Wight Sports and Community Centre in order to raise vital funds. The Centre is a hub for the West Wight community providing a diverse range of services including supporting the vulnerable and isolated, providing youth services as well as all the traditional activities associated with a sports and community centre.
The first £250 raised will all be for the centre and anything additional will be split between the centre and the charity of my choosing Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.
Phyllis Tuckwell only get 20% Government / NHS funding so their work is reliant on the support of the community and have to raise over £20,000 every day to continue their amazing services. Please visit pth.org.uk/ for more information.
