Katherine Taylor is raising money for West Wight Sports & Community Centre
Having cycled and walked round the Isle of Wight in my younger days, I have decided to attempt one more crazy thing before I reach 50 and so am going to swim to the Island! I'm pleased to be supporting West Wight Sports Centre in the process - having spent so many happy times on the Island, it's nice to be in a position to give something back.
If I raise more than £250, the funds will be split between West Wight Sports Centre and STEPS which is a UK charity supporting children and adults affected by a lower limb condition such as clubfoot or a hip condition. I was born with two clubbed feet and so this is a cause which is very relevant to my own experience. I would love to contribute in a small way to supporting others with a similar condition to my own. You can read more about the charity here:
