HCR (Cheltenham) Couch2Summit Challenge

Event date: 18th May 2018

Steven Murray is raising money for Harrison Clark Rickerbys Charitable Trust

My story

On 18 May 2018, a team of lawyers from Harrison Clark Rickerbys' Cheltenham office is taking part in BizFit's Charity Challenge, walking to and from British Base Camp a number of times to cover the equivalent distance to the summit of Everest!

Why?

The Couch2Summit initiative is a brilliant opportunity to raise funds with our colleagues in other offices, to allow the firm's Charitable Trust (hcrlaw.com/about-us/charitable-trust/) to continue to support charities across the Three Counties.

What does the HCR Charitable Trust do?

Last year it awarded grants in excess of £26,500 to local charities including New College Worcester whose students are blind or partially sighted; Cirencester Housing for Young People (CHYPS) to assist with homelessness amongst young people; and national charities who have projects that support people within the Three Counties such as the Lullaby Trust for funding towards days out for children from the three counties and Cancer Support UK to provide chemo kits (gift bags containing light up and craft items books and games) for children.

What can you do?

Support us in our mission to raise funds by donating as little or as much as you like. You can share this link to work colleagues friends and family, the more the better.

You can also wish us good luck and follow our posts on Social Media as we head for the Summit!

Many thanks
