About my fundraising

Thank you for donating this Christmas gift to biomedical research for myalgic encephalomyelitis - a poorly-understood yet serious multi-system neurological disease classified by the World Health Organisation at WHO ICD-10 G.93.3. Your gift will go to the Biomedical Research Fund of the UK-registered charity Invest in ME. The current priority for that fund is to establish a combined ME research and clinic facility in UK, the first of its kind in Europe, in the hope of collaboration with international researchers, with a focus on immunology and virology, and information, education and support for health professionals. Some 250,000 people in UK have M.E (also known as post-viral or chronic fatigue syndrome), 25% are severely affected, 10% are children. There is no cure as yet and treatment for symptoms is very limited. We are aiming to raise the £100,000 needed to fund the initial research projects. Thank you for helping to make this a Happy Christmas for ME!
