Ramadan Dowra 2015

Allamah Muhammad bin Qasim Jassus said: It is incumbent upon every believer to make mention of and understand the Prophet's (God bless him and give peace) characteristics and his outward and inward beauty which is reported from the companions (God be pleased with them all).

As you may be aware, we are once again planning (with the tawfiq of Allah Most High) to run our fourth Ramadan Dowra in the town in High Wycombe. Our previous Dowras have included hosting Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqubi in 1999/2000, Ustadh Jamal al-Din Hysaw in 2003 and Shaykh Khalid al-Turkestani in 2013 who will be joining us once again this Ramadan.

With the exception of the first Dowra in 1999 which had a nominal fee of £10, all of our Dowras have been free and this year will be no exception. These events however are not without their costs and we have always striven to make them as easily as accessible to students.

We would like to extend this opportunity for those who may be interested to contribute to this project and thereby facilitate the study of the blessed Prophetic Shamail which will be the focus of our studies in this Dowra, alongside the other lessons which will be taking place. This year we also plan to stream the different lessons live via an audio feed. The Karima al-Marwaziyya Foundation is one of the few if not the only organisation in the West which has been actively facilitating Western students to access the now rare remnants of the rich scholarly heritage of Saudi Arabia.
