Bath Half Marathon

I am running in the Bath Half-Marathon on March 17th 2019, to raise money for the Bath Spa Musical Theatre Society (who are affiliated with the Bath Spa University Student's Union - a registered charity (No. 1139037)). We are raising money to help with the costs of our end of year production of Spring Awakening.

This is my fourth year being part of this wonderful society that provides a fantastic opportunity for students to be part of a full musical production. The cost of putting on a show is endless - theatre hire, lighting, costumes, set, it goes on..! We raise every penny ourselves through fundraising and this is the first time we are taking on the challenge of the Bath Half. Any support will make a massive difference to the production and more importantly the experience for our amazing cast!

I have always enjoyed running but this is the first time I have attempted anything this challenging and at the moment I am loving training (hopefully it lasts...)!

This society has provided me with 3 years experience as Musical Director, a role which I have learnt to love and will always be so thankful for. The half marathon is a way to show my gratitude for all the opportunities Bath Spa Musical Theatre Society provides.
