Alice's Ripon Cathedral Abseil

Alice Bowerman is raising money for Ripon Cathedral Development Trust
My story
I'll be abseiling 115 feet down the South tower of Ripon Cathedral - one of the oldest in Europe with the Crypt dating back to 672AD.
The event is in aid of Ripon Cathedral Renewed: Supporting the development plans for a 21st Century Yorkshire Cathedral. So let's hope I don't take out a gargoyle on the way down.....
Anyone who's been to Ripon Cathedral will know what an incredibly special, significant and beautiful building it is.
I like hundreds of others enjoyed school carol concerts there for many years, was confirmed there, and am always grateful that the door is open to wander around.
I hope the Cathedral will continue to welcome people for many years to come and it relies on donations for upkeep.
If you'd like to show your support for the cause and gear me on (I have no idea how good I am with heights until I'm up there) I would be incredibly grateful for any donations.
