Sponsored paddle-row-walk 2018

Building on the success of the Sponsored 10K Canoe paddling event last year, we are doing it again!

Sunday 13th May

Current girls and boys (6-18). former members, friends and supporters of the group will either walk the tow path, row a boat as a crew or paddle a canoe from the stone bridge on the canal side (NG9 1NG) in Beeston Rylands to the Nottingham Evening Post Building (NG2 1AA) and back again.

The Explorers and Scouts will be supporting the younger group members to complete this exciting challenge.

The aim of the day is to raise enough funds to purchase equipment for each section.

The Beavers would like two canoes, the Cubs would like Archery equipment, the Scouts would like gas stoves and tents, and the Explorers are after bushcraft and Survival equipment.

The total cost of all of the equipment it about £3000 so we are aimimg to raise £2000 in the hope that we can get match funding for the rest.

For every £10 donated we will receive £11.94 with the gift aid. This will be through the every click page to be circulated.
