About Zimbabwe Agricultural Welfare Trust (ZAWT)

The Zimbabwe Agricultural Welfare Trust (ZAWT) was established in July 2001. Its objective is the relief of poverty, sickness and distress amongst members of the agricultural community in Zimbabwe (including farmers and their employees). The destruction of the agricultural sector by the Government of Robert Mugabe continues (they are still evicting a farmer a day) and literally millions of people are directly affected by this extraordinarily damaging exercise. We have as serious job on our hands. Our Patron is the Most Reverend Desmond M. Tutu, Archbishop Emeritus of Cape Town
