About Working Families
Working Families is the UK’s leading work-life balance campaign organisation. We support and give a voice to working parents and carers, whilst also helping employers create workplaces which encourage work-life balance for everyone. We operate a freephone legal helpline for parents on a low income and our Waving not Drowning network offers advice and support to over 2,000 parents and carers of disabled children.

THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE COMPANY IS ESTABLISHED ARE:
(1) TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION ABOUT ALL ASPECTS OF ALTERNATIVE AND FLEXIBLE WORKING PATTERNS AND IN PARTICULAR TO CONDUCT RESEARCH INTO ALL ASPECTS OF WORKING PATTERNS INCLUDING JOB-SHARING, PART-TIME WORK, FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS AND EARLY RETIREMENT SCHEMES;
(2) THE RELIEF OF CHILDREN AND OTHER DEPENDANTS OF WORKING PARENTS, OTHER DEPENDANTS WHO ARE NEED IN CARE AND PROTECTION IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION, ADVICE AND COUNSELLING REGARDING PROVISION OF CARE FOR DEPENDANTS ESPECIALLY CHILDREN;
(3) TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF EMPLOYEES AND THEIR DEPENDANTS THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF A FAMILY FRIENDLY WORK-LIFE BALANCE IN PARTICULAR BY:
(A) CARRYING OUT RESEARCH INTO THE EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT WORKING PATTERNS AND THE DISSEMINATION OF THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC;
(B) EDUCATING THE PUBLIC, INCLUDING EMPLOYERS AND EMPLOYEES, ABOUT THE EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT WORK...
