About WILLOUGHBRIDGE GARDEN TRUST

The Dorothy Clive Garden - a charitable garden trust - was set up in 1958 by Colonel Harry Clive as a place of rest and recreation and continued horticultural education for the general public

The garden, originally a disused gravel quarry, was transformed by Clive into a woodland garden for his wife Dorothy, who was suffering from Parkinson's disease.
