About VOICE UK
VOICE UK are a national charity supporting people with learning disabilities and other vulnerable people who have experienced crime or abuse. We also support their families, carers and professional workers.
We provide a telephone helpline, the line is attended from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday: Telephone 0845 122 8695
Our statistics show that calls to our office from people needing advice and assistance are increasing steadily. Each new case represents a shocking, traumatic event for a person with learning disabilities and their families and carers.

FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO GIVE REPRESENTATION, SUPPORT AND PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO PEOPLE OF ANY AGE IN THE UK WHO ARE VULNERABLE BY REASON OF (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION) MENTAL DISORDER, MEDICAL CONDITION, SIGNIFICANT IMPAIRMENT OF INTELLIGENCE AND/OR SOCIAL FUNCTIONING, PHYSICAL DISABILITY OR DISORDER AND WHETHER BY REASON OF THEIR SOCIAL AND CULTURAL BACKGROUND, ETHNIC ORIGINS, DOMESTIC OR EMPLOYMENT CIRCUMSTANCES, RELIGIOUS BELIEFS OR POLITICAL OPINIONS OR OTHERWISE WHO REQUIRE ACCESS TO JUSTICE AND SUPPORT. 2) TO SUPPORT AND PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THE FAMILIES/CARERS, KEY WORKERS AND OTHER ASSOCIATED PEOPLE OF SUCH VULNERABLE PEOPLE WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS. 3) TO RECRUIT AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF ALL ORGANISATIONS, ASSOCIATIONS, INTERMEDIARIES INDIVIDUALS AND/OR GROUPS OF INDIVIDUALS CONCERNED WITH VULNERABLE PEOPLE IN ALL MATTERS RELATING TO THE CARE OF VULNERABLE PEOPLE AND TO THEIR NEEDS AND REQUIREME...
