About my fundraising
In September 2012 Vikki is going to Everest Base Camp!
Yes I am mad! Yes I need to get super fit for it! I am flying out to Nepal In September 2012 to trek for 17 days to the base camp of Everest Mountain, 5455 meters high in the sky! In the run up to the trek, I will be training with a personal trainer, at the gym and on some practise treks on the UK's little peaks. It will be a mammoth challenge, for sure.
I will be self-funding the trip, if you sponsor me, every penny will go direct to the East London Out Project, based in my home town of Walthamstow E17. I have got involved with ELOP as its nice to see a small local community centre doing something for the community in my local borough. I know that when I was growing up at school if I had a place to go to and hang out with other teenagers and feel 'normal' my teenage years would have felt a lot easier!
