About Veteran Horse Welfare Society

We rely on the kindness and generosity of those with a passion and love of horses. People who share our goal of providing a second chance to horses whose lives would otherwise meet unnecessary and unthinkable ends. To date the VHW has successfully re-homed and rescued more than 60 horses. Every penny will go directly to the horses at our Centre that need urgent help. And to give you a small idea of how your support would help us, between April and June last year, our feed and bedding costs for just 8 horses came to over £1,200.

FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF VETERAN HORSES IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION AND, IN PARTICULAR, TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN RESCUE HOMES OR OTHER FACILITIES FOR THE RECEPTION, CARE AND TREATMENT OF SUCH HORSES.
