About Us

This April the team at UniTech plan to scale Ben Nevis in aid of Charity. The brave climbers are:

Gus Fraser, David Gardiner, Nigel Gibbons, Lee Jackson, Catriona Koris, Terry O'Brien, Michal Mikielski, Ian Paterson, Dave Sparks, Jen Walsh, Alan Yardley

Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the British Isles and is located at the western end of the Grampian Mountains near Fort William. The summit is 1,344 meters (4,409ft) above sea level and the climb to the top should take around 5 and a half hours and the climb down about 2 and a half hours ? so 8 hours of difficult terrain! The team have chosen to donate funds to Age Concern and Unicefs Haiti Fund.

P.S. When you make a donation, don't forget to check the Gift Aid box if you're a UK taxpayer as then your charity can claim an extra 25% from the government!
