support the work being carried out by Uganda Women Concern Ministry (UWCM) in rural communities near Mbale in the east of Uganda where access to other support is often minimal or absent. Their work includes training and supporting women's groups and community volunteers to set up income-generating projects to restore their dignity and independence, and how to care for the most needy individuals or families in their villages. Support and advocacy for orphaned and vulnerable children is another vital aspect of their work.
