About TUMAINI KWA WATOTO
Vision:Hope for the disadvantaged children in Africa. Mission: Restoring children to empowered families to realise their full potential in society.
Operates a family based outreach and empowerment programme, seeking to address the plight of the reported over 260,000 to orphans and vulnerable children living on the streets of Kenya.

Operational programs: 1) Outreach to the streets and reintegration of children back to their families. 2) Equipping Parents - putting preventive measures in place so that children can remain in their families, family support and strengthen the structures leading to transformation of families. 3) TUMAtoto Shule sponsorship (Education) - sponsor a child through school ? £380 per year 4) Mentoring young people: 3 day camp at Bethany, halfway house ? to rebuild self esteem and instil confidence for reintegrated young people 5) Children?s Camp ? to envision children in government rehabilitation centres 6) Community Outreach ? reaching marginalised members of communities and raising support systems for reintegrated children and their families.

1)THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN GOSPEL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TENETS OF BELIEF SET OUT IN THE SCHEDULE HERETO. 2) THE RELIEF OF SUFFERING AMONG CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE INCLUDING BUT WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING ANY ONE OF MORE OF THE FOLLOWING; POVERTY, HOMELESSNESS, LOSSOF ONE OR BOTH PARENTS, SICKNESS, DISEASE, MALNUTRITION OR INJURY, WAR, REVOLUTION OR CIVIL DISTURBANCE, NATURAL DISASTER. 3) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WHO BY REASON OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES ARE UNABLE TO PURSUE OR FURTHER THEIR FORMAL EDUCATION PROVIDED THAT IN THIS AND THE PREVIOUS SUB CLAUSES THE EXPRESSION "YOUNG PEOPLE" SHALL MEAN YOUNG PERSONS UP TO AND INCLUDING THE AGE OF 25.
