About my fundraising
My name is Bryan Skeen. I am the Training Officer for Hampshire Search & Rescue (www.hantsar.org). We are a self-funded volunteer unit who are called upon by the Police to assist them in searching for Vulnerable Missing People in the Hampshire and surrounding areas...
I will be walking the 500 miles of the Camino de Santiago (The Way of St James) starting on 19th May 2012.
The initial inspiration for this trip was a personal one, whilst also giving me an opportunity to raise some much needed funds for Hampshire Search & Rescue.
I?m making the trip solo in the hope that I?ll meet other Pilgrims along the way.
I will be starting at St Jean Pied de Port, in Southern France and concluding my 500 mile pilgrimage at Santiago de Compostela, North West coast of Spain.
I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to make this trip of a lifetime and I can only thank my wife for this as she has granted me a travel pass for 6 weeks so I can take in the whole experien...
