Three Peaks Challenge for Love Light Romania

As you may know, Me, Syd and Graeme went out to Romania to visit Love Light Romania and went trekking across mountains for three days. Additionally, over the years Leanne has continuously done events to promote and raise money for the charity. The reason for all this is that the charity has become very close to our hearts.

Love Light supports orphaned children with AIDS who are terribly mistreated. When I went out to Romania I visited a sanctuary where Love Light had brought children into their home and looked after them. I was expecting a sombre mood in such a troubled situation but the children were playing games, running around, singing and throwing stuff at me like children should! I got in contact with Jo recently and I was pleased to hear the children I met out there are still enjoying life to the full because of Love Light. I wanted to do something to help the charity and children that made such an impression on me!

Not only do Love Light bring the children into the sanctuary, they continuously support them through their development and that's why they need our financial backing. If we can provide some support for necessities such as food, water and a roof over their heads, Love Light can continue their tremendous support for children who would otherwise be homeless with no family or support.

Now its time to raise money to help out! On the 10th of August I will be attempting to do the three peaks challenge. This is basically climbing/crawling the three highest mountains in Wales, Scotland and England (Snowdon, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike). I'm not a natural athlete, I'm not a mountaineer, I know nothing about all this but I'm taking a punt to raise money for a worthwhile cause. All I need is a small (generous!) donation from my family and friends. I don't believe in the whole every penny counts malarkey, we are in a great situation and our lives are great...appreciate it! Show that appreciation and give back to people who also deserve it! Give some money and give loads!!!! I know I've left it late so chop chop people and cough up.
