About The Women's Engineering Society

Promotes the education, training and practice of engineering amongst women. Increases public awareness of the contribution women can make to engineering. Provides a forum for the exchange of opinions and experience regarding education, training and employment for women with interests in engineering. Sustains contacts with women engineers on career breaks and facilitates their return to paid employment by keeping them informed of progress within the profession. Raises the profile and effectiveness of women engineers by forming links and networking with other women's organizations.
