The Salvation Army cares - and we offer real solutions. The Salvation Army seeks to put its belief into action. Next to the government, we are the largest and most diverse provider of social services in the UK. Every day, in every part of the country, Salvation Army officers and volunteers run vital services such as community centres, family centres and youth clubs. We reach out to the most vulnerable members of society, including homeless people, lonely older people and children from deprived and difficult backgrounds. We give practical, professional help to people who are going through terrible times because of family backgrounds, bereavement, mental illness, addiction, domestic violence and many other problems.
