About The Hunger Project

We work with more than 20,000 villages across 11 countries of South Asia, sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America, reaching an estimated 35 million people, primarily through 375,000 locally trained volunteers.

Our Vision: A world where every woman, man and child leads a healthy, fulfilling life of self-reliance and dignity.

Our Mission: To end hunger and poverty by pioneering sustainable, grassroots, women-centered strategies and advocating for their widespread adoption in countries throughout the world.

The Hunger Project empowers local people to take effective, sustainable and strategic action themselves, through training, education and inspired leadership. The Hunger Project is delivering ground breaking results but with your help we can do much much more. Give Now. Support our Work
