About The Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund

The Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund. Established in 1924, the CTBF have been ?Providing Care Behind the Scenes? for over 80 years. They are the British trade charity for anyone who has worked in any capacity behind the scenes, for two or more years, in the film, cinema, commercial television or affiliated industries. The Fund spends over £1.3 million helping thousands of beneficiaries a year by providing practical support and financial assistance.

The CTBF organises several high profile fundraising events throughout the year such as ROYAL FILM PERFORMANCE, the only film premiere attended by the Patron of the CTBF, HM The Queen, BEST OF BRITISH COMEDY LUNCH, attended by some of Britain?s finest comedy talent or the capital?s hottest fancy dress party, the LONDON PARTY.
