About my fundraising
My daughter Tara has recently been diagnosed with CFS/ME and we would like to raise funds for The Young ME Sufferers Trust. So, as a family, we are going to walk The Cranfleet Trail which is 2.5 miles long. We're going to be walking this circuit twice so that we can achieve our goal of 5 miles. We specifically chose the Trail as it is wheelchair friendly and Tara will walk/wheelchair the route as she is able. Too few people are aware of how CFS/ME affects the lives of those who suffer from it and their families and we are hoping that by doing this sponsorship event we can help raise awareness and understanding of this illness. We selected the date of Saturday 14th May as it is the last day of ME Awareness week.
