Did you know that domestic abuse is the biggest killer of women under the age of 44 in the UK? and that each year over 750,000 children witness and are affected by domestic abuse. East Surrey Domestic Abuse Services is a registered charity providing specialist services to adults and children affected by domestic abuse. Through our Outreach service we offer advice, advocacy, information and support on a range of issues including benefits, debt, housing & homelessness, child contact, divorce, injunctions and making criminal allegations to name a few. Most importantly we provide people with time and a safe space to be heard and when they are ready to consider their options. Our associated services include a Children & Young People's Service, Counselling, a programme of Group Work, Legal Advice Drop-in, Debt Advice Service and a Volunteering Project dedicated to encouraging survivors to volunteer - thus harnessing their experiences and skills in a positive way!
