TO PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF ILLNESS AND SUFFERING IN SUCH WAYS AS THE ASSOCIATION SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT, AND IN PARTICULAR IN THE SOUTH AND MID-CHESHIRE AREA AND ADJACENT AREAS (A) BY ESTABLISHING, MAINTAINING AND CONDUCTING RESIDENTIAL NURSING AND CONVALESCENT HOMES FOR THE RECEPTION AND CARE OF PERSONS OF EITHER SEX WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM ANY CHRONIC OR TERMINAL ILLNESS OR FROM ANY DISABILITY OR DISEASE ATTRIBUTABLE TO OLD AGE.
