South Hill Park Descendants Conquer Guildford Cathedral
Event date: 26th April 2014
South Hill Park Arts Centre is raising money for Guildford Cathedral
My story
A group of intrepid adventurers from South Hill Park Arts Centre are set to overcome their personal fears (or chase some thrills) by abseiling down Guildford Cathedral in aid of charity.
All money raised will be split equally between South Hill Park and Guildford Cathedral.
South Hill Park is raising vital funds for building repairs and other worthy projects around its 18th Century Mansion home.
Please support The South Hill Park Descendants:
Karen Farr, South Hill Park's longest serving member of staff. Karen has dedicated 25 years of her life to SHP and is now throwing herself off a cathedral... attached to ropes, to raise money!
Brad Clapson, fabulous actor and star of SHP Panto. Many of you will know Brad as 'Magic the Mirror' from last year's SHP Panto 'Snow White'. We're sure Brad will add his own touch of magic to the abseil!
Kate Ratcliffe, Arts Coordinator at SHP. Kate is a seasoned abseiler and rock climber. This will be a breeze for our Kate.
Rod Andrew, Operations Manager at SHP. Rod is celebrating a weekend off work by bouncing his way down a rather large cathedral, just because he can!
Darren King, roped in by his Head of Marketing girlfriend. Darren doesn't even work for SHP but is no stranger to doing mad things for charity so he'll fit right in!
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Guildford Cathedral.
