So after watching the marathon every year on TV and wishing I was running, I've decided to give it a go this year!

I've been running for a couple of years but this is my first marathon and after a few months of training I'm realising just how far my little legs are going to have to carry me! I've built up to 10 miles so quite a way to go, but I'm hoping that the thought of the charity I'm running for will spur me on through my training plan (fingers crossed!).

I'm running for the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre. The charity is based in Essex and provides vital support and practical advice to MS sufferers all over the country. As some of you might know, my mum has suffered from MS for the last 13 years so it's a charity very close to my heart!

The charity gets over half its annual income from the London Marathon so any donation will make a big difference.
