About SNAP Cymru

SNAP Cymru is a National Children's Charity based in Wales. Trained staff and volunteers work with children and young people, their families and professionals working with those who have or may have Special Educational Needs/ Additional Learning Needs including disability and other barriers e.g. poverty, English or Welsh as a second language.

We provide accurate information, advice and support for a range of issues, including assessments, statements of special educational needs, bullying, school attendance, exclusion, health and social care. Other services we provide include Advocacy (?About Me? Advocacy Project), Disagreement Resolution, and Training for Young People, Parents & Professionals.

SNAP Cymru has worked to facilitate partnership for over 20 years and have a wealth of knowledge and experience. SNAP Cymru holds the Community Legal Services Specialist Quality Mark (Education Advice), Investors in People Quality Mark, and the Investing in Volunteers Quality Mark.
